Brrrrrrrrrrrr!

It's official... the cold has come. It has taken a hold of the Northeast and it's grip will not slack until sometime next April or May.

Blah.

I am dreaming of sunshine, warm sand, and the crashing of the ocean waves.

I try to live in the here and now. I try to make the most of the long winters. Really, I do. But, people, I was not made to live in this weather for long periods of time. Already, the lack of sun is taking it's toll. My mood is souring by the minute.

So, I am hunkered down today with the little one. Doing things that make me happy, like sipping hot cocoa, reading a good book and kissing the most adorably, squishy cheeks ever!















And his smile is like sunshine for my soul.
